Dr. Harry Dudley, Psy.D.

Are you accepting new patients: Yes, but space is limited

Are you offering telehealth services: Yes, teletherapy via Zoom is offered. I will send you a link before our appointment.

I received my BA in Psychology from Syracuse University in 1982 and my PsyD from Yeshiva University in 1988. I have a varied background in child & pediatric neuropsychology, forensic psychology, and clinical psychology and have had training in several different approaches to psychotherapy, some of which are listed below. I have worked and practiced in various settings, including inpatient, residential, day treatment, court-based clinics, outpatient research, and clinical settings.

Since 1993, I have maintained a private practice in Vancouver, Washington, which has included clinical, psychoeducational, and forensic evaluations in addition to providing individual and family therapy. Since 2020, my practice has focused on individual psychotherapy, primarily with adults.

As a young teenager, I was introduced to yoga nidra meditation and explored other forms of meditation and contemplative practices. I have training in variations of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. I have delivered trauma-informed yoga and meditation in substance use treatment centers correctional facilities and have taught yoga nidra to psychologists and, therapists, and yoga teachers.

Given my long interest in non-ordinary states of consciousness (NOSC), which originally led me to meditation in my younger years, I have provided yoga nidra to individuals in sensory deprivation tanks (aka Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy, or REST). I practice in the psychedelic space, offering psychedelic integration sessions to those clients who choose to use psychedelics on their own for self-guided journeys and in office or remote ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) in collaboration with Journey Clinical.

My practice of clinical and consulting psychology draws upon a diverse training in a variety of approaches, including but not limited to:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
  • Integrative Restoration Yoga Nidra Meditation (iRest)
  • Non-dual contemplative and mindfulness-based interventions and practices
  • Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
  • Psychedelic Integration Supportive Psychotherapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and evidence-based. I tend to be very active and provide interventions for clients to take with them into the world outside of the consulting room. My focus is individual therapy with adults; although collateral family sessions with other family members may be scheduled as needed, I do not provide ongoing family or couples therapy.

Meditation training is also a large component of my clinical practice. Throughout my career, I have been influenced by the non-dual wisdom traditions. I also see students specifically for meditation, and I provide recordings of sessions and practices for clients and meditation students.

I provide individual psychotherapy, including ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic supportive integration psychotherapy. I also provide individual and group iRest yoga nidra meditation. Recordings are available on this website, and individual practice recordings can also be made during sessions.

I help treat PTSD, Complex PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, high functioning autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and learning disorders, personality disorders, and addictions.

My practice is limited to adults.

The guided meditations and materials on this page are forms of Integrative Restoration (iRest) Yoga Nidra, practices from other yogic and contemplative traditions, and include elements from other contemporary therapeutic approaches such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and somatic approaches to psychotherapy. They are a synthesis of traditional meditation with contemporary psychology and neuroscience.

Please feel free to use them as you wish and share them with others.

Namaste,
Harry
